Safety Pin Bracelets

Awhile back, I found a really cool klutz book (I love those books) that taught me how to make safety pin bracelets. I already knew that you could do many things with safety pins, but this craft was new to me. At first, I didn't know if I could make them when I saw the daunting pictures of the finished products. But I found that making the bracelets was reasonably easy, as well as enjoyable to do. Here are some pictures of several safety pin bracelets that I have made.

My sisters and I have really enjoyed listening to the songs that Jamie Grace (one of our favorite artists) sings. We got her newest CD recently and have been listening to it over and over again. She has an awesome voice and a real heart for God. One of her songs, God Girl, my dad even sings, although he said he feels a little awkward singing about how he's a God girl! Lol! Anyway, I thought I'd share my personal favorite song from Jamie Grace. It's called You Lead. This is a great song for this new year. My prayer is that God will lead me to do His will and that I will follow Him in all my ways. I hope you enjoy! Here's the link:

Our Saturday!

This Saturday, my family and I repaired our fence. It had needed repair for awhile, so it was nice to finally get it fixed. The Lord made it possible. Here's a link to my Mom's blog for the story.

My Dad showed us all how it was done. First, we had to demolish the old fence. We used a hammer to knock down the old posts. Then, we were able to start putting the new posts up. It was actually a lot of fun! I was also able to take pictures of our fence building day, so that made it even more enjoyable.

I'm sorry this post is so overdue! I'm posting lots of pics here to make up for it. Enjoy!

My Favorite Things!

Recently, my friend, Kristiana, issued a Photo Challenge!! I jumped on the opportunity because I love photography. =) So, all you have to do is post 3 to 7 pictures about your favorite autumn things and link back to her blog. The deadline is this Saturday. Easy right?

Here I go!

Well, one of my favorite things about autumn is all the beautiful leaves that you can find on the ground. Here is a picture of a heart shaped leaf.

Also, in the autumn, I enjoy sipping wonderfully warm tea and hot chocolate.

The fragrant smell of candles in the autumn is also a delight!

A Finished Quilt!

A few weeks ago, I was able to finish binding the quilt that I made at a two-day quilting camp. At the end of the two-day camp, the only thing lacking on my quilt was the binding. I kept putting it off, but finally, the week before we started back to school, my sisters and I completed our quilts! Adding the binding was fun, and easier than I thought it would be!
